If enabled, OpenKJ will not check to make sure that files are valid karaoke tracks when doing database updates. This speeds up database updates considerably.
If enabled, OpenKJ will not get durations during database updates. It will start a background process after the update finishes (and on subsequent program startups) to fetch duration data for any songs that it doesn't have duration data for. This speeds up database updates considerably.
If enabled, OpenKJ will watch all configured source directories for new files added while it is running, and will automatically pull in any new file using the naming standard that's configured for that directory. Note, this will NOT find files that were added while OpenKJ wasn't running. For those you'll need to do a database update for the directory they were added to, or a full database update.
If enabled OpenKJ will actively search as you type in the search field, narrowing results as you go. On very low powered hardware, disabling this will help with performance a bit.
